Definitions

• Services: Refers to creative programs (Filmmaking, VFX, Animation), Tech/STEM programs (Coding, AI, Robotics), and academic tutoring provided at physical centers, in-home, or through franchisee locations.
• Student: A person under the age of 18 enrolled in our courses.
• School Partner/Franchisee: Independent entities licensed to deliver the START Jr. curriculum.

Eligibility and Enrollment

• Services are designed for children aged 6–18.
• Enrollment is complete upon receipt of the registration form and the initial deposit/fee.
• Parents must provide accurate medical/emergency contact information.
• START Jr. reserves the right to dismiss any student who disrupts the learning environment or violates safety protocols.

Fees, Payment, and Refund Policy

• Currency: All fees are listed and payable in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via e-Transfer, Credit Card, or other approved digital methods.
• Refund Policy: If a student withdraws, a pro-rata refund of tuition fees will be issued within 14 days of the written request, minus a non-refundable registration fee and the cost of any distributed equipment/kits.
• Statutory Rights: These terms do not override the provincial consumer protection rights regarding "cooling-off" periods for service contracts where applicable.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in British Columbia.
