Trainer Code of Conduct & Ethics Policy

Professional Boundaries

• Staff must maintain a strictly professional relationship with students.
• Physical contact is prohibited except when necessary for safety or in a supervised, age-appropriate manner (e.g., a high-five).
• Staff may not transport students in personal vehicles.

Digital Communication

All communication regarding scheduling or progress must be directed to the parent. Tutors are prohibited from engaging in private social media contact or direct messaging with minor students.

Substance Policy

START Jr. maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of tobacco, alcohol, or cannabis by staff during work hours or while on the premises of any center or client home.
